How the rankings work

Every number on SweepRanks is measured, not negotiated. This page explains exactly what we collect, how the score is computed, and what we refuse to do.

What data goes into a SweepRanks score?

Each brand is scored from up to 21 public signals across four groups: player reviews (Trustpilot, App Store, Google Play ratings and review counts), real traffic (SimilarWeb visits, Cloudflare Radar and Tranco domain ranks), social presence (follower counts across six platforms, verified by live checks), and market activity (ad library counts, affiliate listings, search interest).

Can a casino pay to improve its ranking?

No. Ranking positions are computed from public data and are not for sale, to partners or anyone else. When a brand pays for visibility it appears in a clearly labeled placement, always outside the ranking itself.

How often is the data refreshed?

Core metrics are collected daily. Social counts are verified with live browser checks on a monthly pass, offers weekly, and a validation system clears any value that has stopped updating so stale numbers are removed rather than displayed.

What does data confidence mean?

Every brand carries a confidence level based on how many independent sources report on it. HIGH means multiple corroborating sources, LOW means few. LOW-confidence brands stay in the table but are excluded from headline picks like Top Rated.

What does Top Rated require?

A Top Rated pick needs at least two independent review sources, each with 100 or more reviews, and is ranked by the review-volume-weighted average rating. One app store's rating can never crown a brand on its own.

Why do some brands show no social or traffic numbers?

If a value cannot be verified as current, it is removed rather than shown stale. A blank is honest; an outdated number is not.
